While I'm sure there are plenty of Aniston fans who would love to slap the cuffs on Angelina Jolie for man stealing, heart breaking and assault with deadly pillow lips, Team Jennifer will have to wait a wee bit longer to watch Angelina Jolie face a judge for her harlot ways.
The mother of 86 was only faux-arrested today -- yes, it was all in the name of "art" as she was led off in cuffs while shooting a scene for her new spy thriller, "Salt."
Angelina Jolie dons a sexy black wig as she gets arrested by New York City police March 18 during the filming of her upcoming spy flick, Salt.
Angelina, 33, has been in town shooting the espionage thriller, in which she plays Evelyn A. Salt, a rogue CIA agent who tries to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper spy.
On March 14, Jolie was filmed standing among a crowd of extras during a funeral scene for a slain police officer. The New York Police Dept. played themselves in the scene, which was shot in midtown Manhattan along Fifth Ave.
Additional sequences will be filmed in NYC on March 21. Earlier in the week, Angie was spotted scaling a wall barefoot in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
Jolie has enjoyed incredible box-office success in action movies such as the Lara Croft films (2001 & 2003), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Wanted (2008). Combined, Angelina's movies have grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide.
The beautiful Oscar winner also wins high praise from her colleagues, including James McAvoy, who co-starred with Jolie in Wanted. "The thing I most appreciated from Angelina was that she doesn't take herself too seriously," said the 29-year-old Scottish actor. "And she kept reminding us that if you can't have fun when you're making an action movie, you shouldn't be doing it."
Salt, which co-stars Liev Schreiber, comes out in July 2010.
