Guenther Oettinger, in the governor of Baden-Wuerttemberg and he just had to try to force a local TV show from have John Travolta on as a guest. "By inviting Mr. Travolta to appear on your show, you're offering this organization a platform to address millions of viewers," Oettinger was quoted as saying in Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. "Mr. Travolta is a well-known member of that organization, which has only recently opened a new office here, and many people, parents in particular, are concerned about Scientologists and their aims."
Now, I know these aims run counter to some of the ideals of Germany:
"A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology."
I'm just not sure which of these aims are antipathetic to the German construct. Is it that they want insanity? Is it criminals they prefer? I don't think so. Maybe it's war. Now that's a possible. Honest beings able to rise to greater heights? That's probably what it is. Having been fixated with creating or being supermen under Hitler they want to prevent anyone excelling or living up to their true potential? Even that I can't believe.
No. It's more like they don't really oppose the aims of the Scientology religion. They've just bought nonsense being pushed out on what Scientology really is.
Now you don't suppose its psychiatry and Big Pharma, do you? I guess they do have a stake on increasing so-called insanity, by being paid to dole out the latest designer meds.
It couldn't been that the drug companies are profiting off keeping people in jail could it?
