Tell Paris No

Whether it's a dog, a ferret, a kinkajou or Brandon Davis, Paris Hilton has a habit of walking around town with hairy creatures on her arm.

While these antics may make the paparazzi happy, animal activists are so enraged at Paris' need for accessorizing with exotic pets that they have launched the website www.TellParisNo.com. The site wants animal lovers to write the "alleged singer and celebutante" to get her to stop illegally collecting wildlife.

The website also claims Hilton may be breaking the law for owning her pet kinkajou, Baby Luv. California law states that it is "unlawful to import, transport, or possess alive animals" like the kinkajou without the appropriate permit. The site adds that "although kinkajous may appear cute and cuddly, they are wild animals that belong in the rainforest."

Meanwhile, the Center for Biological Diversity, which helps to protect imperiled species and their habitats, has also fired off a letter to Paris urging her to "turn over Baby Luv and any other illegal wildife you possess to an appropriate wildlife rescue organization."
