Not letting a little rainy weather ruin her fierce style, Rihanna was spotted making her way back to her hotel in New York City on Thursday evening (June 18).
Wearing a leopard print coat and high boots to keep dry, the Barbadian beauty eased her way past paparazzi following the day�s Big Apple outing.
In related news, it was announced earlier today that the details regarding the Rihanna/Chris Brown assault case will not be broadcast to a television audience.

Rihanna�s aiming low in revenge on Chris Brown?

Rihanna apparently  thinks Chris Brown leaked those nude photos of her all over the internet so now she�s prepared to take some revenge, so says a well placed Now Magazine source.  Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, particularly one who has her own unflattering nude pictures of Chris Brown to circulate:

�She has less than flattering nude pictures of him that she plans on leaking, says a well-placed source. Rihanna says he�d be really embarrassed by them.�

Rihanna ordered to testify against Chris Brown

Chris Brown's assault trial is apparently full steam ahead because Rihanna has been ordered to testify against her abusive ex. E! News reports:

The singer's attorney, Donald Etra, told E! News that Rihanna will be called to testify at the June 22 preliminary hearing in Brown's felony assault case.
"The judge advised me that there will be a subpoena for Rihanna as a witness at the preliminary hearing," Etra said following a morning hearing. "She will definitely comply."
And she will be doing so while facing her alleged attacker.
"He has to be here anytime a witness is called," Brown's attorney Mark Geragos said, confirming that the "monster"-denying R&B star will indeed be present to hear the testimony.

Things Chris Brown Should Probably Not Do During Rihanna's Testimony:
1. Scream "I'll kill you!"
2. Wave his fist at her. Then the jurors.
3. Dance for the judge. (That'll be a tough one.)
4. Hug O.J.

Chris Brown making a country song? Sure.

Somehow I missed this bit of news because I'm so focused on the real issues, but Chris Brown is recording a country song and might enlist some of the genre's top talent to help out, according to MTV News:

"Maybe we'll see an appearance from Carrie Underwood or someone like that," said Robert Allen, a writer and producer who is currently working with the singer. "It's that kind of song." Allen further explained that the song is "just feeling like you don't want that dream to go away. Everybody has a dream and you're in it, but you wake up and you're like, 'Oh, my God.' You feel like you're still in that dream."

I have no idea what that guy just said, but let's see if Chris Brown meets the criteria to break into country music: Born in the south? Check.

Chris Brown denies leaking Rihanna photos

Chris Brown is, obviously, denying any connection to the nude photos of Rihanna that were leaked online Friday, according to Essence:

The celebrity gossip blogger claims "Chris Brown must be responsible for this!"
A spokesperson for Brown has released a statement to ESSENCE.com denouncing any connection to the photos. "This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris has not released or 'leaked' any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter)."

Of course, no one really expected Chris Brown to come clean even if he did do it. As we speak, he's in the process of blaming the LAPD for making him beat Rihanna. Do good girls go bad now? Well Rihanna is trying to put her life back after her battered life episode until this Rihanna pics leaked was exposed!

Rihanna is currently facing a nude photo scandal.Rhanna had some naked pictures that surfaced on the web on Friday May 8,where the singer is showing off all of her goodies.

I do not think that Rihanna knows about this but some reports said that this might be the fault of her former boyfriend. Well we still do not know and we do not have the right to point fingers at anyone.

It was said to be taken on using a Blackberry at a London Hotel room. It says in the mirror �I love you Robyn I miss you�, Robyn is Rihanna�s real name.

Chris Brown's lawyer moves towards dismissal

No wonder Rihanna fled the West Coast. Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos filed his motion yesterday seeking internal LAPD documents about the leaked photo of a battered Rihanna. He hopes to prove misconduct by the LAPD and get Chris Brown's assault charges completely dropped. Radar Online reports:

Geragos states, "I'm informed and believe that on or about February 19, 2009, a photograph taken by the LAPD depicting physical injuries on Ms. Fenty's person was illegally leaked to the media. Specifically, I am informed and believe that this highly prejudicial photograph was sold by an LAPD officer to the entertainment website, TMZ. The photograph was immediately viewed by hundreds of thousands of viewers and was displayed on every news channel for several weeks. In fact, the photograph still remains on the TMZ website. The purpose of the leak was necessarily for profit and to vilify Mr. Brown and poison the potential jury pool."
Geragos further states "If the instant motion reveals evidence of dishonest conduct on any of these officers' part, I intend to use such evidence at the preliminary hearing to attack their credibility. The defense intends to prove and argue that the afore-mentioned officers are not credible and that the Court should not believe any or all of their testimony. If the Court does not believe these statements, I believe there is a reasonable likelihood that the case will be dismissed at the preliminary hearing."
Geragos goes on to say, "In this case specifically, the leaking of a photograph (whether for profit or not) of a complaining witness violates a variety of criminal and regulatory prohibitions. In and of itself these actions would not only constitute demonstratable bias on the part of the involved officers but could potentially be the basis for a Motion to Dismiss Outrageous Governmental Misconduct."

For brevity's sake, let me sum up the most important part of this post: Rihanna's cleavage. Some stuff might have just happened about Chris Brown's high-priced lawyer getting another celebrity off the hook, but seriously, look at that outfit. Rihanna dodges Chris Brown

Rihanna is telling Chris Brown to leave her alone. According to reports, the singer was in a Los Angeles recording studio last week after a two month break and her on-again, off-again boyfriend interrupted the afternoon with a steady stream of phone calls.
�Chris called Rihanna�s producer until he finally got him on the phone,� an insider told OK!. �He demanded to know if Rihanna was there, pleading �Is she there? Tell Me! Pease tell me if she is there or not.��
When Rihanna heard the commotion, she gestured to the producer, �No! Tell him I�m not here.�
If the district attorney asks her, Rihanna�s lawyer has said she will testify in Brown�s trial for assault and making criminal threats.

Rihanna photo could get Chris Brown off the hook

Chris Brown's attorney Mark Geragos is looking to get the alleged beating case dismissed based on the leaked photo of a severely battered Rihanna. E! News reports:

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg today set a preliminary hearing for May 28 on Brown's double felony case--the result of Geragos pushing for as late a court date as possible to allow him adequate time to respond to the still-pending investigation into just how Rihanna's police photo was released.
Should the gruesome photos' appearance prove to be the result of a police transgression, Geragos told E! News that he will move to have Brown's entire case dismissed.
"The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct," Geragos said.

"Your honor, clearly my client beat the living shit out of his girlfriend, but since the police leaked photograph evidence of said beating to the media, we're asking you to let him back on the streets with no punishment whatsoever. Then we're going to sue the cops so he can buy a Lamborghini made entirely out of Toaster Strudels and Faberge eggs." Only in America. Hurray!

Rihanna wants her jewelry back

Rihanna wants police to return the $1.4 million in jewelry she wore the night Chris Brown allegedly beat her. Us Weekly reports:

According to a motion filed Tuesday by her attorney Donald Etra, police seized a pair of earrings and three rings as evidence after the Feb. 8 attack in Los Angeles, the Associated Press reports. Her attorney said the bling was on loan - and the four companies want the items back.

I don't know anything about policing, but why would the cops take all her jewelry? Were her earrings really evidence? Why didn't they just rummage through her purse? "Hey, sorry, we're gonna have to take this $300 in cash. As evidence. This is very important stuff."

Is Rihanna going on a girls-only road trip?
We just got word that the singer is planning a North American tour.
A source insists that the "Disturbia" songstress hopes to kick things off in September. Details of exactly where and when are still being worked on, but our source says that Rihanna may not be alone when she hits the road...

Ciara and Keyshia Cole are in negotiations to join the tour, according to the source. "Rihanna wants strong women to join her," the source says. "This is a 'women empowerment' type of tour."Just last week, E! News confirmed the star will make her first solo stage appearance since her altercation with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, next month in Dubai.
Shortly after the Grammy Eve incident, Rihanna canceled a Feb. 13 concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her last concert was Jan. 29 in L.A.
Rihanna's rep did not immediately comment, nor did Ciara's. Coles' rep insists she's not in talks to join Rihanna because she is busy working on several other projects, including her own headlining tour.

Rihanna Readies for a Return to the Stage

Rihanna is set for her comeback.
The "Disturbia" star's first performance since her altercation with Chris Brown will be a May 28 with a concert in Dubai, E! News confirms.
�There will be over 25,000 tickets available,� says Mary Rachelle Cherpak, a spokeswoman for Dubai Tourism. �They will be going on sale in the next couple of days.�

Though the location is still TBD, she says it will most likely be a designer outdoor venue. Says Cherpak: �Normally they create a special stage in the desert for these events."
Rihanna had been scheduled to perform at the Grammys on Feb. 8, but canceled just before the ceremony following the incident with Brown. Her last concert was Jan. 29 in Los Angeles.

Chris Brown isn't dating anyone

Chris Brown is reportedly not dating Girlicious singer Natalie Mejia or his ex Erica Jackson, according to MTV News:

"Chris was in a Hollywood tattoo parlor with a woman from the recording studio named Dean, who was getting a tattoo. (Chris did not get a tattoo)," Brown's rep reportedly told People magazine. A spokesperson for Brown did not return requests for comment from MTV News.
"Natalie Mejia was there with Dean," the source added. "[Reports in other media] that Natalie Mejia is Chris' new girlfriend are also false." The rep also said that reports claiming Brown is back together with a former hometown Virginia girlfriend, University of Mary Washington student Erica Jackson, are also false.

Chris Brown pleads not guilty

As predicted earlier today, Chris Brown plead not guilty to felony assault and making criminal threats, according to TMZ:

With ex girlfriend Rihanna nowhere in sight, Brown showed up at L.A. County criminal courthouse to face the music for allegedly beating the crap out of her back in February.
Sources inside the courtroom say Chris' mom spent the entire preliminary hearing either in tears or praying for her 19-year-old son. We're told a handful of Chris' friends and four bodyguards were also there to show support.

Praying for her son? Yeah, let's pray Chris Brown doesn't have to go to jail and be held responsible for his actions. I'm sure Jesus will hop right on that one just as soon as he's done answering my prayer that there'll be no pregnant dancers at the strip club tonight. Don't let me down, JC.

Rihanna leaves country for Chris Brown arraignment

Seen here leaving the airport, Rihanna has hightailed it to Barbados to avoid being in town for Chris Brown's arraignment on felony assault charges today. Chris' lawyer and prosecutors are heavily negotiating a plea which might actually include jail time, according to TMZ:

We know Brown will plead not guilty tomorrow, however the plea may just be a formality.
Sources say Rihanna has made it clear she does not want to testify in the case and wants Brown to cop a plea. We're told one of the reasons she's in Barbados right now is because "she wants to be as far away from this case as possible."
As we first reported, Brown was inclined to plead either guilty or no contest to a misdemeanor, provided he got no jail time -- but since we broke that story, the D.A. and Mark Geragos, Brown's lawyer, have gotten down to the nitty gritty.

So, essentially, Chris Brown has to prove his love for Rihanna by going to jail and not making her testify in court. After what he did to her face, I'd say that's a fair deal. Provided he also wears a blonde wig and make-up the entire time. Or are we not trying to teach him a life-long lesson here? I forget.

Rihanna cooperating with DA's office

Despite rumors to the contrary, Rihanna is fully cooperating with the district attorney's office on Chris Brown's assault case. Probably even more so now that they're "on a break." Us Magazine reports:

The Los Angeles County District Attorney denies that Rihanna is no longer cooperating in the Chris Brown case.

Seen here at Bar Delux last night, Rihanna has been hitting the clubs hard lately without Chris Brown anywhere in sight. Page Six reports:

"The songstress was spotted at Nobu Wednesday night "smiling and flirting" with a group of guys, including Brody Jenner. "She was there having dinner. Her blond, female security guard was there the whole time," said our spy. "Every time Rihanna would go to the bathroom, the guard would go with her. Every time someone came to the table, the bodyguard would stand up. She was like a female James Bond." After the meal, Rihanna joined Jenner's group. "She looked relaxed and happy, like Chris Brown was totally in the past."
