Jennifer Haupt, a very talented writer for Psychology Today, has written about Dr. Andrew Ordon's (The Doctors) new Surgical Friends Foundation. According to the Foundation's site, the vision of the founding members was to create a surgical foundation which reached out to all those who suffer from physical deformities, whether they reside in the US or abroad. The goal was to create an organization that is working to provide reconstructive surgery and improved access to quality medical care by uniting patients, physicians and philanthropists on a global level.
